This weekend we will be busy trying to finish painting hundreds of exterior trim pieces:
And staining thousands of cedar shakes:
While we've been fairly busy with this project all along, things are going to get particularly hectic starting next week. The plumber starts on Monday. The HVAC installer starts on Tuesday. And the roofer starts on Wednesday. The fire sprinkler installer, radiant heat installer, concrete porch installer, and the mason also start in the next few weeks.

Looks like a lot of work but it looks great! All I am trying to do is redo what was done wrong on our place (much less work than you have taken on)... finish the basement, fix the yard, etc. I am aspiring to get a place where I too can have a workshop... years down the road though. Erika told me about your project the other day. Sounds like you have had a few frustrating times but it looks like you will have a really nice place when you are done. Hopefully there will not be anymore hang-ups or other issues of incompetent buggers who give you the wrong codes to follow on the rest of the project. Looks like the weather won't be an issue for much longer, only until the sideing/roofing is complete. I like the privacy that you have, very nice area.
